5月は自転車月間、5/14~5/18は自転車通勤週間、そして5/17は自転車通勤デーだったそうです。この辺りではあまりツーキニストを見かけませんでしたが、サンフランシスコでは自転車が交通量の半分以上を占めるなど、かなりの反響があったようです。
その様子をcyclelicio.usのFritzさんが写真に収められていますが、中には前輪52インチのオーディナリー型自転車に乗っている人も...。どこに駐輪するんだろうｗ。

So where does one park a bicycle like that on the streets of San Francisco? But more importantly, how to you get your leg over it without major injury????
I don't think Martin parks it anywhere out of immediate sight. Way too valuable!
There's a peg on the back above the small wheel. You hold the bike next to you, push it forward in front of you and in one smooth motion step up on the peg then, with the other leg, swing up onto the saddle. The guys who ride these things make it look easy, but I've never tried it personally.
Wow...learned something new today. So, I suppose you just reverse the steps to dismount, right?
