VUELTA A ESPANA
The Vuelta a España, the third largest cycling race in the world, ends the major summer stage races with three weeks of difficult and highly competitive racing. The 2007 Edition of the Vuelta will appeal to everyone in the race because it has something for climbers, time trialists and sprinters. The start on September 1 is in the north-western city of Vigo on the Atlantic coast, with an early stage finish in the famous city of Santiago di Compostela.

Debuting in 1987, the event features 11 race stages, one rest day 1305.5km and six riders per team. The Tour is widening its horizons and innovating, a proof of its vitality.
