「サングラス、いいね」とヴァンデヴェルデに言われたというHaymarket Bicycles presented by Function Drinksチーム所属、Jared Nietersのブログによると、スリップストリームは圧倒的なスピードで全く敵無し状態だったとか。

タンパベイからも6チームが参加：Team BBC, Tampa; Colavita, Orlando; Team GearLink, Clearwater; Naples Cyclery, Naples; Team Neptune Cyclery/Dent Wizard, Tarpon Springs; Team Spokes, Oldsmar
